Lisita presents its first sfogliatella collection
A timeless diamond that has travelled through four centuries of history: the sfogliatella. The iconic Neapolitan pastry, with its crisp shell and soft heart, is the crown jewel of Pasticceria Lisita. A delicacy to which its master pastry chefs have chosen to dedicate an exclusive collection.
Three, the perfect number.
Enclosed in a precious case are the family jewels, the ones of great sentimental value: three sfogliatelle in three different flavours, a symbol of three generations. Grandfather, father and son of the Lisita family.
The classic sfogliatella is grandfather Salvatore’s recipe. Inside its crisp pastry lie all the flavours and scents of Neapolitan tradition: ricotta, semolina and candied fruit. A sweet tribute to the story of a pastry shop whose adventure began with Salvatore Lisita himself. The second generation, that of father Alfredo, is expressed in a ricotta and pear filling. A pairing born in the Nineties that has become a classic of Neapolitan pastry. Finally, son Salvatore signs his own take on the sfogliatella, with a soft chocolate heart. The inspiration winks at the “pain au chocolat”, a French classic that never goes out of fashion. A choice that stands for the future while holding on to the roots.
